Acoustic measurement

Depending on type of the building, the measurement and evaluation methods for determining the sound pressure level differences between rooms, floor impact sound pressure levels, and noise levels indoors are regulated in the industrial standards and guidelines determined by the architectural institute. Meanwhile, outdoor regulation standards are set according to the Environmental Quality Standards and the Noise and Vibration Regulation Laws.

Noise measurement

Every day we experience various noises. The measurement and analysis methods of noise vary depending on the purpose of the measurement, which can include not only the sound pressure level but also the situation and time of occurrence of the noise. Nihon Onkyo Engineering takes this fact into consideration in order to respond flexibly to requests. We also perform sound source identification for unrecognized sounds which cannot be identified its cause or location of occurrence.

Low-frequency sound measurement

When requested to investigate a low-frequency sound, Nihon Onkyo Engineering will carefully interview those complaining about the sound and those who is suspected to be related to the generation of the sound, and examine the suspected causes of the low-frequency sound. With various possibilities in mind, we will propose an analysis plan that excludes prejudice as much as possible.
