Sound insulation measurement

Sound insulation performance measurement is used to measure how well the walls and floors between areas block sound. The results of the measurement are evaluated using an applied grade that relates to the sound pressure level difference between rooms and between specified paths.

Floor impact sound measurement

Floor impact sound is noise that is generated when upper floors are struck, such as a chair dragging on an upper floor, or footsteps on an upper floor, that can be heard at lower floors. Floor impact sound measurement is performed in accordance with the standards.
