Assessing or evaluating the aircraft noise contour is done by actual measurement at a lot of points, or by simulating calculation. It is difficult to draw by the actual measurement data because it needs huge measurement data at plenty of points, therefore, the simulation method is usually used. We have the technology to generate real 'noise contour' based upon using a database developed from the aircraft noise and flight path's actual measurement data.
Present Noise Distribution & Prediction of Future Distribution
The database of flight patterns and the acoustical power levels are modeled by those of the actual measurement data. Then, by using this database, we can evaluate the current contour, furthermore, predict the future noise distribution.
Prediction of Indoor Noise Level
It is possible to listen actually the indoor noise which was predicted by the simulation.
