Unattended measurement by the automatic measuring instrument equipped with the aircraft noise discriminator enables us to cut down the cost while maintaining the monitoring with high precision. Furthermore, it enables to do cross-check the measured data with the airport operational data and indentify the noise source according to analysis from the transponder signal and/or correlate with the data measured at the neighborhood permanent monitoring stations.
Of course the automatic measuring instrument is adapted to the new environment quality standards and supports computation of WECPNL and Lden (day-evening-night equivalent sound level).
Because the automatic measuring instrument can be connected through a telephone line, cellular phone and PHS to the PC in office, it enables to monitor and control the instrument remotely from a distance, moreover the measured data can be collected online.
