A microphone traverse system (microphone positioning system) is now one of the essential tools for acoustic measurement. Understanding sound source means to obtain important information to implement countermeasure against sound power level or the measuring against the source of noise. Our company has developed an automatic measuring system using robots. We provide broad services from its design to set up to maintenance. Our Mechatronics technology has managed to reduce labor hours for measuring on the spot by automating the troublesome measuring point positioning of a microphone. We have continued to produce great variety of products up to the present time.
1 Axis
The microphone rotator and turntable are available. Both of them are available for single axis rotary control.
2 Axes
The MT-2000 has the two axes Cartesian mechanism, lightweight with the aluminum rail with variable main part length. It uses a servo motor and timing belt which makes a quieter system possible. There are three types of MRS series with an arc shape rail.
3 Axes
The MT series is the standard type of microphone traverse system. The MT3000 is a 3-D (X-Y-Z) microphone traversing robot. You can choose from three types according as the range of movement. We can customize a system according as your measurements.
4 Axes
The MT4000 TYPE3 is an XYZ Cartesian microphone traversing robot with the following features: elevation angle stroke axis: 0 to 180°at a tip.
5 Axes
The MTS-5 is a gantry crane model of a microphone traverse system which is installed on the ceiling of an anechoic room (semi-anechoic room). It has the 2 degree of freedom of rotating (elevation angle stroke, horizontal angle stroke) at the tip of the XYZ Cartesian robot.
