The sound of a movie is composed of words, sound effects and music. The final mixing after the recording/editing and pre-mixing of these sources are all done in a studio called a dubbing stage where the sound is mixed on the supposition of the sound in a theater. The difference between a dubbing stage and a theater is the location of the recording equipment, for instance, the mixing console is located behind the room and the sofa area is between the screen and the console. The director and the production staff will sit there, then have series of meeting, and finally complete the film.
The final step before distributing a film is done in the screening room. These phases are called rush-preview,preview- number 0,1st-preview. After that, the film will be formatted in various ways and then sent to the cinemas.
When the film comes to the screening room, this is considered the final stage in which the film will go through a final screening of the picture, sound, and the combination of both play back using video and sound equipment with higher resolution than the movie theaters. In the screening room, you will be able to play back the resolution and the contrast of the picture images and the dynamic range of sound faithfully.
Using our experience and technique in sound design, we will create a high grade environment, preview system and room which will perform beyond your expectations.
The screening room is used to evaluate and review the process of making film including the picture and sound quality which requires correct reproduction of the video and sound images which is intended by the producer.
Things to be considered in creating a high quality picture are the following; the position of the screen and projector, the width and the projection angle (level or vertical) of the screen, the specification of projection window (using highly transparent and low-reflective glass) and its inclination angle, the selection of the finishing materials for the ceiling and walls (e.g. low reflective materials against light) and finally the location of the air inlet and outlet.
Regarding the acoustics, it is important to consider the sound insulation structure, the location and the installation method of the loud speakers, the selection of the baffle wall and finally the room acoustics (sound absorption, reflection, and sound diffusion).
Our company not only designs but also develops the highest quality environment for preview including the following;
- To create a high-grade sound insulation structure to prevent sound and vibration from leaking outside a room.
- A countermeasure for isolating the audience from huge vibration from the loudspeakers
- We have the know-how of setting up or making the most of the ability and power of the horn speaker for a cinema.
- An acoustical interior design for a room that can reduce the low frequency booming, reproduce well-balanced frequency characteristics from low to high frequency and offers uniform surround sound field.
- Considering the design of the acoustical details about the screen and the projection window to do high-luminance and high-resolution projection.
Finally, we will execute sound tuning by listening and making adjustments to the screening system to serve our client's need.

Recently there is a growing demand in the cinema business for mainstream multiplex cinema with big screens and high power sound system.
Regarding the sound system of a cinema, most cinemas use a speaker system which is similar to a live music club and there instantaneously or continuously are played at more than 110dB.
Therefore, the most important thing to consider when developing a sound system for a cinema is to develop a solid sound insulation system which can withstand high volume without disturbing the area surrounding the cinema.
Developing a high sound insulation performance between theaters located side by side that use high power sound system is not easy.
The difficulty is making a 3-4 layer multiplex wall. The structure of the insulation should be similar to a hall or live music club, as "perfect floating construction" but accomplishing this task is costly. Therefore, our goal is to implement a high-level, high quality sound insulation system which is affordable and effective.
Adopting a "perfect floating construction" depends on the surrounding of the multiplex cinema.
We have the know-how and experience as acoustic consultants on multiplex theater and technology to design and to construct a high-quality, large scale architecture like a concert hall.
Our goal is to provide, high-quality and high level cost performance construction for your needs.
