MTS-5 is a ceiling gantry crane model microphone traverse system (microphone positioning system) in an anechoic room(semi-anechoic room). It has the 5 degrees of freedom of controlling, which consists of 3 axes (XYZ) Cartesian coordinate's robot and 2 axes rotary functions (horizontal and elevation) at the tip.
It is possible to support the various size of measuring object because MTS-5 can move over a wide range. This model is not only suitable to analyze the sound source but also it can automatically measure the sound power level by positioning the microphones to around the target. Furthermore, it can be used as a sound source (speaker etc.) traversing system.
A feature of this product is its light structure, the rail is made of aluminum, and we are able to design it accordance to the size and the range of movement.
Since the improved new multistage telescopic motion is applied instead of the existing vertical mechanism which uses self-weight and retractable wire, the product is able to be controlled precisely at high speed and it has an excellent alarm detection safety system to detect overload.
