MT-4000
We have added a rotation degree of freedom to the tip of the 3 axes Cartesian robot, which is a standard axis mechanism for the microphone traverse system to measure efficiently. It is troublesome to change the axis of the sound intensity probe or point the microphone at a target when measuring the sound power level. This MT-4000 is based on MT-3000 TYPE3. It is added the rotary function of 180° for elevation angle at the tip. This function makes adjusting the microphone to the target more easily, as a result taking more accurate measurements.
Recently, we have manufactured a light weight rotary mechanism using a compact and high-quality motor like the one that is used for a humanoid robot, and we are planning to apply it to other Cartesian robot series.
